What size of organisation can use Tempora?

Tempora is suitable for startups and small companies with as few as five users up to global organisations with many companies and thousands of employees.


Can Tempora be used by home workers?

Yes, Tempora can be used anywhere in the world where there is a broadband Internet conection.


Is Tempora multi-currency?

Tempora can be configured to use any currency. In a multi-company configuration, each company can have its own reporting currency.

How can I be sure that only authorised users see sensitive cost data?

Tempora uses a roles-based permission system to ensure users see only the information they're meant to see. Limited permission is granted automatically to each new user. This provides a restricted view of the system and doesn't allow access to sensitive data. Where allowed, users may be granted additional access by their company's Tempora administrator.


Does Tempora work on different web browsers?

Tempora is developed for use with Microsoft Internet Explorer and can be used with IE7 and IE8. Tempora is also tested with Firefox and Safari. We advise users of Tempora's reports not to use Firefox because we are (as of November 2009) aware of some problems with long reports using Firefox. 


Can Tempora be integrated with my accounts system?

Tempora has a custom interface for use with Sage Line 50 but can import and export data from and to most accounting systems.


Can I add extra users to my subscription?

Your Tempora administrator can request additional users (in multiples of five) by emailing Tempora Support or by contacting us.


How do I add one of the additional modules to my existing Tempora subscription?

Your Tempora administrator can request upgrades by emailing Tempora Support or by contacting us.

Can I get my data out of Tempora?

All reports can be exported and additionally there is a general purpose export facility that enables the user to select specific items of data for export.


What is the minimum subscription period?

The standard subscription period is one year.


In which country is Tempora used?

As of November 2009 Tempora is used in the UK, France, Italy, India, Singapore, China, Japan and Australia.
