This optional upgrade provides a self-service facility for staff to request all types of leave from work.  Managers are able to respond to requests quickly and easily by reviewing an online calendar showing other staff absence over the relevant period.  This system means that an accurate central record of absence is maintained, eliminating the need to give the benefit of the doubt to staff leaving your organisation who claim that they are due payment in lieu of extra untaken holiday.
